Pin Brinell HardnessTester

Hardness Test Machine

Principle

Test force (F) = 1580 kgf, with a test ball diameter (D) = 7.26 mm, resulting in a force-to-diameter ratio (F/D²) of approximately 30. This follows the Brinell similarity principle and is equivalent to the standard test condition of 3000 kgf using a 10 mm ball.

Standards

ASTM E10-23:Standard Test Method for Brinell Hardness of Metallic Materials
